Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide clinical teams and drive exceptional patient outcomes. You will supervise operations, coordinate schedules, and mentor therapists in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, emphasizing empathy, compliance with therapy policies, and collaboration across hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Current licensure required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to aid in recovery.
• Understand each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to support outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
