Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader. Lead a dedicated therapy team within a hospital setting, ensuring quality patient care, effective scheduling, and collaborative program implementation.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and partnership with hospital departments to optimize patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance. A current PT license, CPR, and progressive leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and inter-department communication.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by addressing each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs during recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
