Beth Israel Lahey Health in Cambridge, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate referred patients, develop comprehensive treatment plans, administer therapies, and monitor responses. You will coordinate with families and physicians to ensure safe, effective, and individualized care.

You will educate staff and students, maintain precise documentation, and contribute to performance improvement efforts while upholding infection control and safety standards in a hospital setting.

Formación

• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong organization and ability to manage a patient caseload with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates referred patients for age-appropriate behavioral, motor, and physiological norms using tests and history.
• Develops comprehensive treatment plans with patient/family and physician including goals and frequency of therapy.
• Administers therapeutic techniques and monitors patient response, adjusting as needed.
• Coordinates care with patient/family, physicians, staff, and facilities for equipment, discharge planning.
• Adapts communication to patient population (hearing/vision/cognitive).
• Documents care accurately in medical records and aids billing.
• Involves and mentors PT assistants, aides, students, and volunteers.
• Maintains professional knowledge through continuing education and literature review.
• Participates in departmental meetings and quality improvement activities.
