Job summary

The Hughston Clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join our rehabilitation team. The position focuses on planning and administering prescribed PT treatments, consulting with physicians, documenting patient care, and educating patients and families.

The role requires a current PT license in the state and active BLS certification, with an emphasis on patient confidentiality and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of PT experience preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy.
• Must have current state license in PT and maintain BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed PT treatments to restore function, prevent disability and relieve pain.
• Consult with physicians about PT factors affecting patient health status.
• Document treatments and patient information for medical records; bill appropriately.
• Educate patients and families on care and use of therapies and exercises.
• Serve as an information resource for patients, families and staff.
• Participate in professional development and maintain affiliations.
• Perform related duties as assigned and support other staff as needed.
