Job summary

North Central Baptist Hospitals in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for PRN DAYS to support adult patient care. You will evaluate and treat patients, interpret tests, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers and discharge planners.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas State license and a BS in Physical Therapy, with preferred Master’s or Doctorate; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current Texas State license required for all others: possession prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician orders and requests interpretation as necessary.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements of patients.
• Develops functional goals and modifies treatment plans.
• Instructs and involves patient, family, social worker, nursing staff and discharge planner.
• Maintains documentation on all treatments.
• Provides clinical education for PT students.
• Maintains safe environment and uses appropriate equipment.
