Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to plan, evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role supports established PT programs, develops discharge plans and may supervise support personnel. Temporary licenses are accepted with supervision by a licensed Therapist.

The position emphasizes patient education and collaboration with care teams. Candidates must hold an accredited Master’s in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; temporary license accepted when supervised.
• PA Physical Therapist License or eligibility required; BLS certification required.
• Two licensure-related requirements: temporary license accepted under supervision; active PA PT license expected.
• 1 year experience in a Physical Therapy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates and treats patients in inpatient and outpatient PT settings.
• Participates in established PT programs including patient care and education.
• Evaluates patients and develops discharge plans; directs support personnel within scope of practice.
• Temporarily licensed therapists must work under supervision of a licensed therapist.

Education

Master's Degree Accredited Physical Therapy program Required

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
