Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. The role involves participation in established PT programs, patient education, and developing comprehensive discharge plans. Supervising support personnel is included within the scope of practice.

Temporary licenses are accepted and must be supervised by a licensed Therapist. A Master’s degree is required; Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience in a Physical Therapy setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• PA Physical Therapist license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates and treats patients for physical therapy needs in clinical (inpatient and outpatient) settings.
• Participates in established PT programs including patient care and education.
• Evaluates and treats patients and develops discharge plans; implements them.
• Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
• Temporary license accepted; individuals with temp license work under a Supervising Therapist.

Job description
