Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation in Republic, MO is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver skilled physical therapy for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise rehabilitation technicians and supervise PT assistants in line with Mercy policies.

The role requires a DPT or equivalent, active state licensure, and BLS certification, with opportunities to collaborate with physicians and care teams in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Evidence-based PT assessment and treatment planning.
• Ability to supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants.
• Current Physical Therapist license in state of practice.
• DPT or equivalent accredited program completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish functional goals.
• Develop individualized plans of care with timelines and outcomes.
• Deliver skilled PT interventions and document progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide home exercise programs and discharge instructions.
