Achieve, a leading digital personal finance company, is seeking a Loan Verification Specialist in the United States. You will underwrite a high volume of unsecured loan applications and assess supporting documentation to render prudent decisions.

The role requires 1–3 years underwriting experience, familiarity with credit reports, tax returns, and bank statements, and strong English communication. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years underwriting experience.
• Prefer some unsecured lending experience.
• Strong English communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft product line and Windows-based applications.
• Ability to work varied hours / flexible schedule with one weekend day included (Sunday-Thursday).
• Adaptive and flexible – tolerance for change.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a high volume of unsecured consumer loan applications - manual risk assessment.
• Assist in the development/refinement of underwriting guidelines.
• Identify ways to improve processes.
