Job summary

Jobot in Florida is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to grow a book of business across Homeowners, Personal Auto, Renters, Umbrella, and related coverages. You will focus on new client acquisition, relationship building, and providing consultative insurance solutions while supporting agency retention and profitability.

The role requires licensing and 1–3+ years of insurance sales or client-facing experience, with strong communication.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty Producer License (state-specific).
1–3+ years of insurance sales or customer-facing experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to explain insurance concepts in simple terms.

Responsibilities

Actively prospect and generate new personal lines clients through referrals, networking, inbound leads, and community involvement.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales production goals.
Conduct client consultations to assess risk exposures and insurance needs.
Present coverage options and provide clear recommendations tailored to each household.
Quote new business with multiple carriers and follow up on proposals.
Educate clients on policy features, limits, deductibles, and endorsements.
Cross-sell additional products when licensed.
Maintain accurate client data within the CRM.
Follow underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites.
Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale.
Participate in agency marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
