Job summary

The Husband & Wife Law Team in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support personal injury cases from filing through resolution. The role requires prior PI litigation support and comfort handling deadlines, discovery, depositions, and trial prep.

You will work closely with attorneys and a team of legal support professionals to manage caseloads, coordinate with clients, and prepare for hearings and mediations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing cases that have entered litigation.
• Experience with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, or trial prep.
• Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery documents.
• Coordinate and track written discovery, including interrogatories and production requests.
• Schedule and assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings.
• Prepare attorneys and clients for depositions and court appearances.
• Organize medical records, billing records, expert materials, and exhibits.
• Communicate with clients regarding case progress and expectations.
• Collaborate with attorneys, investigators, and experts on case strategy.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and trial binders.
