Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York is seeking a Patient Care Associate to deliver care in the NYC jail system. Responsibilities include assisting with patient hygiene, documenting vital signs, and ensuring a safe environment for diverse patient needs.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, BCLS and EKG certifications, and experience with patient care. This position requires standing for long periods and includes night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid EKG Certificate.
• Required BCLS Certification and computer competency.
• HIV Pre and Post Test Counseling training/certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers total patient care and assists with personal hygiene.
• Documents patient vital signs in Electronic Medical Records.
• Maintains a safe environment and assists patients as needed.
