Responsibilities

Coaching and supervising the cross-country program.
Implements district athletic department policies.
Works with the MSD Athletic Director and Principal.
Communicating school game schedule.
Communication of travel for out-of-town trips.
Verification of student physical examination/Family ID requirements.
Remains with students and supervises them while traveling to away competitions.
Cares for athletes and injured athletes.
Cares for, maintains and oversees the storage of all equipment and uniforms.
Maintains a positive staff relationship with other coaches.
Performs other duties as assigned by the MSD Athletic Director and Principal.
Communicate with parents about the program and expectations.
Leads by example.
Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practices, and trips.
