Job summary

Memorial High School in Manchester, NH, is seeking a part-time High School Boys Cross Country Coach to lead and develop the varsity program, mentor JV and assistant coaches, and uphold district policies.

The successful candidate will work with the Athletic Director and Principal, coordinate schedules and travel, ensure student eligibility, and foster sportsmanship and academic balance. Starting date is immediate; citizenship/residency or work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Experience coaching high school cross country preferred.
• Ability to work part-time schedule, including after-school hours.

Responsibilities

• Coaches varsity, supervises JV and assistant coaches.
• Guides the junior varsity program.
• Implements district athletic policies.
• Assists in selecting and evaluating JV and assistant staff.
• Coordinates with Athletic Director, Coordinator and Principal.
• Communicates game schedules and travel plans.
• Verifies student physicals and Family ID requirements.
• Supervises athletes during travel to away contests.
• Maintains equipment storage and uniforms.
• Prepares awards lists and season records.
• Attends state meetings and stays current with trends.
