Job summary

Tyndale House Publishers is seeking a part-time janitorial team member for our Carol Stream, Illinois campus. You will keep office and warehouse facilities clean, safe, and welcoming, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor and collaborating with janitorial staff.

Qualifications

• One year of janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred, but training is available.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and a professional demeanor.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred for effective communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Restroom care: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms to reflect care and professionalism.
• Break rooms & common areas: Sanitize surfaces and maintain inviting spaces.
• Scheduled office cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface cleaning in offices.
• Floor & surface maintenance: Mop, vacuum, clean windows and doors as needed.
• Waste removal: Empty trash throughout office and warehouse.
• Safety & supply stewardship: Monitor supplies and report issues promptly.
