Job summary

East Side Union High School District is seeking a paraeducator to support certificated teachers in classrooms and learning centers. You will assist with instruction, supervise students, and help organize learning environments, materials, and records.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of college, fingerprint clearance, and the ability to translate information as needed. This role requires strong communication and patience with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have the equivalent of two years of full-time college (at least 48-semester units) or pass the No Child Left Behind test.
• Foreign transcripts must be evaluated for acceptance.
• Fingerprint clearance and official sealed transcripts required.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teachers in instruction, supervision and training of students.
• Assist in implementing curriculum for designated areas.
• Supervise students to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize classrooms and centers.
• Maintain student records and communicate progress to teachers and admins.
