Job summary

Bronx Children's Museum is seeking a Manager of Outreach Programs to lead the implementation and growth of its educational work with schools and community partners beyond the Museum's walls. This role turns program concepts into reality, builds implementation plans, coordinates logistics, and supervises educators delivering programming off-site.

The Director of Education & Programs sets strategy while this position focuses on execution, day-to-day delivery, and strong partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Experience in museum education or school programming is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supervising staff or managing complex programs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of school- and community-based programs.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for schools and partners.
• Develop calendars, plans, and staffing for outreach programs.
• Coordinate logistics with teachers, partners, and teaching artists.
• Monitor quality and consistency of program delivery.
