Job summary

California Job Shop is seeking an experienced OASAS Program Director for our outpatient treatment center in Brooklyn, NY. This leadership role oversees daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives program quality and client outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, LMSW/LCSW/LMHC licensure, and at least five years of clinical experience with two in supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (LMSW), Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in supervision/program management.
• Experience in outpatient substance abuse treatment or related behavioral health field.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment models (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).
• Experience working with Orthodox Jewish population.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the outpatient program including compliance with OASAS regulations.
• Develop and implement policies supporting center’s mission and goals.
• Lead and supervise clinical staff; provide guidance and training.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and regulations.
• Monitor program performance with data and client feedback.
• Prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
