Job summary

Shepherd Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for the Dean Stroud Spine and Pain Institute, focusing on outpatient spine and pain services. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment programs, and train patients and families in exercises and equipment use.

The role requires a PT degree, GA licensure, and strong clinical skills; two years of experience is preferred. This full-time position is on-site at our Georgia facility with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state (Georgia).
• Two years of recent clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient status including strength, ROM, reflexes, and gait.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, reassess regularly.
• Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Schedule and coordinate specialty clinics and equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with policies.
