Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) in Santa Cruz to join our rehabilitation team. The OT will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs to help residents regain functional independence as part of an interdisciplinary team.

We welcome full-time, part-time, or PRN applicants. Starting pay is $50 per hour with DOE and a comprehensive benefits package. SNF experience is preferred but not required, and new grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active California OT license (OTR/L) required.
• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• SNF experience preferred but not required; new grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, functional mobility, strength, and independence.
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, and physicians to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and families on safe techniques and home-care strategies.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to interdisciplinary planning.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and professional practice guidelines.
