Job summary

The VNA of Maryland, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy under the supervision of an OT.

You will follow the plan of care, educate patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with nurses and physicians. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation access.
• CPR certification preferred or can be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care under supervision.
• Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress to supervisors.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy areas.
• Provide care in diverse home settings without discrimination.
