Job summary

The Gift of Life Donor Program is seeking a Transplant Coordinator in the Philadelphia area to coordinate organ donation processes and support families through sensitive situations. This role requires at least three years of Critical Care/Trauma nursing experience or six years as a Paramedic with leadership skills.

Transplant Coordinators manage organ donor care and collaborate with health care teams while offering hope to patients awaiting transplants. Outstanding benefits include medical coverage, tuition assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• Three years of Critical Care/Trauma experience as an RN.
• Six years of EMT-P certification or management/teaching experience.
• Live within a 40-mile radius from Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the organ and tissue donor process with respect and compassion.
• Evaluate potential organ donors and discuss options with families.
• Manage potential organ donors to maintain organ health.

Skills

Critical Care/Trauma experience

ACLS or PALS certification

Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions

Management or teaching experience

Education

RN with active license or EMT-P certification
