Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech for the Operating Room. You will support the surgical team, pass instruments, and ensure sterile, prepared environments for procedures.

The role requires CST certification, completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program, and a preference for 1 year OR experience. Employment is full-time with day shifts and on-site work at White Oak Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified.
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Surgical Team in providing safe, appropriate patient care.
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons during surgery.
• Prepare the Operating Room with the necessary supplies.
• Sterilize required instruments and supplies.
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed.
• Assist in ordering and restocking OR supplies and instruments.
