Job summary

joinaegvision is seeking a licensed Doctor of Optometry to perform comprehensive eye exams for Acuity Eyecare group, supporting practice growth through patient education and relationships.

The optometrist will interview patients, diagnose refractive errors and ocular diseases, prescribe glasses, contacts, medications, and provide pre/postoperative care as needed; vision therapy or low-vision rehab may be offered as brand-specific.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Interviews patients to determine health, ocular history, and needs.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery patients.
