Job summary

Abound Food Care in California seeks a Director of Operations to oversee daily operations, translate strategy into actionable plans, optimize processes, manage budgets, and lead teams to deliver measurable community impact.

Reporting to the CEO, you will supervise Logistics, Marketing, and Regional Project Managers, build SOPs, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with finance and program leads to align operational priorities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, operations management, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in operations management.
• Experience managing multiple departments, budgets, strategic initiatives, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for daily operations and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate operational goals, initiatives, and performance measures.
• Establish and improve SOPs and policies across the organization.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Supervise operations staff and support workforce development.
• Collaborate with finance, program leads, and other departments to align priorities.
