Job summary

Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence through personalized therapy in a team-based skilled nursing environment. The position pays $53.00–$58.00 per hour, depending on experience, and requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current state license, CPR, and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients' medical condition, functional abilities, and rehabilitation potential.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs with goals under physician direction.
• Document patient progress and communicate with patients, families, and the care team.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to COTAs and provide clinical supervision.
• Direct COTAs and Rehab Aides while ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts.
