Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is hiring Occupational Therapists to service residents in skilled nursing facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. OTs will evaluate, treat, and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition in daily activities, working with a diverse multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Current NYS OT License and Registration.
EMR Competence.
State Required Medical Documentation for work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Valid Proof of Identity and Work Authorization.
Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Provides Occupational Therapy services to residents by assessment, treatment, and program development.
Conducts individual, supervised, and group treatment as outlined in the plan.
Monitors resident response to intervention and suggests modifications.
Adheres to department and resident schedule and adjusts as needed.
Maintains resident care standards as determined by the OT.
