SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest City in Oklahoma seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits within acute care.

The role involves designing plans of care, selecting treatment modalities, documenting progress, and ensuring safe discharge planning. Education required: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in OT to obtain state licensure; BLS HCP within 90 days.

Qualificações

• OT degree required for licensure in state of practice.
• BLS HCP certification required within 90 days of employment.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient’s ability to safely perform independent living skills and designs plan of care.
• Implements treatment plan with appropriate modalities and documents progress.
• Educates patient and family about deficits and discharge planning and adaptive equipment.
• Oversees care provided by designated personnel per regulations and standards.
• Maintains safety and performs other duties as assigned.
