Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity in Northern Ohio. This field-based role serves as the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders, healthcare providers, and decision makers to communicate data and advance Amgen's obesity program.

You will collaborate with the Medical Affairs team, support sponsored research, participate in congress activities, and ensure compliant, evidence-based exchanges.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Or a Masters degree with 3 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL Leadership.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value to institutions and decision makers.
• Connect external and internal stakeholders to expand reach and access.
• Provide and present field observations to inform Amgen strategies.
• Lead and support congress activities aligned with strategy.
• Support speaker training and ensure update on new data.
• Lead or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies.
• Coordinate with other Amgen field roles for a unified One Amgen experience.
• Maintain clinical/scientific acumen with current data and trends.

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree with 3 years Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor's degree with 5 years Medical Affairs experience
