Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (multi-state compact and/or single-state) with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing care.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
