Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to support investigations in epilepsy, neuroimmunology, and related CNS disorders across UCSD and Rady Children's Hospital. You will coordinate start-up, recruitment, data entry, and regulatory oversight while ensuring compliance with FDA/IRB requirements.

The role involves interaction with investigators, sponsors, and trial staff, development of regulatory documents, and use of Velos and Clinical Conductor for trial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years in clinical trials research; GCP and FDA regulations knowledge.
• Experience with IRB, regulatory documents, and data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and vendors; strong communication.
• Experience with start-up procedures, site activation, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up, implementation, recruitment, and enrollment.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, IRB interactions, and consent forms.
• Manage study documents, CRFs, and data entry across trials.
• Liaise with UCSD/RCHSD departments, sponsors, and CROs.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and participation in trial operations.
