Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Research Coordinator in Neurosciences to support the Huntington’s Disease Center of Excellence. You will coordinate clinical research activities, recruit and screen subjects, obtain consent, and schedule visits and exams, while maintaining regulatory files and data management.

The role requires knowledge of FDA regulations, HIPAA, and GCP, plus experience with IRB submissions and communication with patients and families affected by neurological diseases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a biological sciences field.
• Experience coordinating clinical research with patient interactions.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HIPAA, CFR and GCP guidelines.
• Experience with ethical conduct and human subject protections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical research management, including recruitment, eligibility screening, consent, and enrollment.
• Schedule visits, conduct assessments, manage data and regulatory files.
• Prepare abstracts, manuscripts and analyses; assist with publications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and collaboration with HD COE team.
• Develop reports and documentation for IRB submissions.
