Job summary

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is seeking a Software Developer to modify, code, test, and maintain application software. You’ll work under direct supervision on low complexity projects, using .NET/C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server/TSQL to deliver user-focused functionality.

Responsibilities include implementing changes, building documentation, testing software, and supporting systems while adhering to credit union standards and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
• 1-3 years of prior relevant experience required

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, modifies applications programs from detailed specifications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.
• Develops, implements, and maintains low complexity application software using established credit union standards and specifications.
• Codes new applications programs to meet desired user functionality.
• Revises application software to reflect approved changes specified by users.
• Follows coding and development standards; builds technical and functional documentation.
• Test and debug new and existing application software to assure accuracy and interoperability.
• Adapt to multiple technologies; remains knowledgeable of new technology through training and collaboration.
• Provides ongoing system support as required.
