Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Canton is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Canton, OH. The role supports post-ICU patients, with 12-hour shifts on a PRN/Per Diem schedule. Pay is $20.00 per hour and orientation is provided to ensure a smooth transition into our hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient bathing, rounds, transport assistance, and maintaining clean, stocked patient areas. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CNA or hospital experience, and BLS within

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA or related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients and basic care (basin-less wash), oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; restock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
