Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ESSA requirements may apply for Title I schools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Apps.
• Ability to implement instructional and behavioral strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities and duties that implement the total school program.
• Aids teachers with planning, organizing, evaluating activities and preparing materials.
• Demonstrates professional and technical skills to support the school program.
• Works with individual students and groups across classrooms as needed.
• Participates in district staff development and ongoing professional growth.
• Maintains professionalism, good judgment, and calmness with students.
• May perform vision and hearing screenings and record results.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
