Freddie Mac Multifamily is seeking an Associate for the Capital Markets Loan Pricing team. You will help price multifamily loans and structured deals, collaborating with internal teams and external dealers to support pricing decisions.

You’ll contribute to pricing strategies, monitor markets, and perform rate locks while developing expertise in housing finance. This role offers a competitive package and growth within the pricing function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience in commercial real estate finance or related fixed income/capital markets.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing fixed and floating rate multifamily products (Conventional, Tax Exempt, 9% LIHTC, and more).
• Prepare Guarantee fee recommendations for K-Deals, Q-Deals, ML-Deals and other structured transactions.
• Monitor capital markets and collaborate with dealers on new issuance levels and secondary market activity.
• Perform interest rate locks and coordinate with hedging desk.
• Review prepay penalty waiver requests and contribute to pricing process improvements.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed and communicate findings clearly.
