AMS in Mesa seeks a passionate Middle School Math Teacher (Grades 5-8) for the 2026-2027 school year. Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and foster a structured, engaging classroom that builds students’ mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.

You'll differentiate for diverse learners, monitor progress with formative and summative assessments, collaborate with grade-level teams, and engage families to support student success in a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area
• Minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and data-driven instructional mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned mathematics instruction aligned with AMS curriculum and Arizona standards
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning
