Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Mathematics, Education, or related content area) OR Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area OR Minimum of three (3) years of K-12 teaching experience.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Pass required background checks and obtain IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Show commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a data-driven instructional mindset
• Exhibit collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned mathematics instruction aligned with AMS curriculum and Arizona standards.
• Strengthen students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Implement instructional strategies that promote engagement and conceptual understanding.
