Job summary

Music Ministry International seeks a part-time Religious Education Coordinator to develop and manage a comprehensive Protestant education program for Seymour Johnson AFB families and dependents.

You will coordinate Bible studies, Vacation Bible School, and annual events, working closely with the Wing Chaplain and parish leaders. Strong planning, budgeting, and volunteer management skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Protestant doctrine and worship.
• Proficient in program management and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to recruit and work harmoniously with volunteer teachers and leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years military chapel experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage a Protestant religious education program for Seymour Johnson AFB families.
• Coordinate weekly Bible studies, VBS, and annual budget planning.
• Direct programs for all ages and liaison with wing chaplain.
• Maintain records, rosters, reports, and curriculum materials.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teachers and assistants.
• Prepare calendars and annual religious education calendar and budget.
