Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a Program Specialist (Middle School Academic Tutor/Behavioral Coach) to provide tutoring and behavioral coaching during school hours and after-school programs, with emphasis on middle school English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, you will support teachers, counselors, and beacon staff, develop learning activities, monitor progress, and help maintain a positive, safe learning environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred plus 2 years of proven experience in youth development or experience in providing academic support.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group academic tutoring in core subject areas and behavioral coaching to students.
