Job summary

Lincoln Charter School’s Lincolnton Middle School campus is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, with a start date of January 4, 2027. The role is responsible for delivering math instruction to middle school students on the Lincolnton campus and reporting to the Middle School Building Administrator.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and a valid North Carolina teaching license (or reciprocity from another state) and show strong NC Course of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred
• Valid NC teaching license required (or out-of-state license with reciprocity)
• Strong background in NC Course of Study/Common Core
• Literacy and reading foundations knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of instruction aligned to adopted courses of study
• Develops purposeful lesson plans maximizing time on task
• Plans and implements instruction to meet individual student needs
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning with varied teaching strategies
• Maintains required records and communicates with administrators and families
• Supports school policies and participates in professional meetings
