Qualifications

• Experience with school-age children, paid or volunteer

• Highly Qualified Status: two years of college or equivalent, or demonstrated reading/writing/mathematics proficiency
• Fingerprinting and Criminal Background check, and First Aid/CPR required

Responsibilities

• Manage circulation and collection using the library system
• Supervise classes and library visits, assist with storytime and study hall
• Process materials (labels, barcodes, entry into system) and perform basic repairs
• Assist students with computer work and learning materials; train volunteers
• Represent the media center in communications with parents, clubs, and the public
