Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate content endorsement or a valid out-of-state license transferable to Tennessee within 90 days of employment, or on track to certification in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Attend professional meetings and staff meetings; participate in committees and school activities.
• Instruct students using standards-based content; utilize audio-visual aids to support learning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan curricula and align instruction.
• Develop and submit weekly and long-range lesson plans with standards and assessments.
• Use data to evaluate pupil progress and communicate progress to families.
• Provide accommodations and modifications to support growth for all students.
• Maintain classroom management and school policies; supervise and participate in student activities.
