Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate content endorsement or transferable out-of-state license within 90 days.
• If without license, can qualify for Practitioner license while completing educator preparation programs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in assigned content areas following state standards and using varied materials to engage learning.
• Plan weekly and long-range lessons with standards, objectives and assessments; review homework.
• Use data to monitor pupil progress and share progress with parents.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to align curricula and address student needs.
• Lead or participate in student activities and chaperone events as needed.
