Job summary

CoreCivic is hiring a Mental Health Coordinator (PRN) to plan and deliver non-medical mental health services within a facility. The role requires a Master's in a clinical field and current state licensure, plus at least five years of clinical experience, including two years in a similar position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field.
• Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role.
• Must possess applicable state certification or licensing.
• A valid driver's license is preferred unless required by contract or statute.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and interviews with inmates.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques in caseload treatments.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions to inmates.
