Job summary

Renaissance Recovery Tennessee is seeking a Mental Health Group Facilitator to lead outpatient group sessions in a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM–3:40 PM. This 1099 contract role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based approaches in behavioral health and substance use treatment.

You will guide psychoeducational and therapeutic groups, document attendance, share observations with the clinical team, and ensure HIPAA compliance in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health or group facilitation.
• Strong understanding of group dynamics and recovery-oriented care.
• Professional, reliable, and culturally competent.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:40 PM.
• Comfortable working as a 1099 contracted employee.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate mental health disorder groups using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and symptom management.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive group environment
• Complete timely and accurate group documentation and attendance records
• Communicate relevant client observations to the clinical team
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements
