Job summary

Elmhurst University in Elmhurst, IL, seeks a Head Men's Tennis Coach to lead all facets of the program and uphold NCAA, Division III, and Elmhurst Athletics standards. The role reports to the Director of Athletics and is an exempt, full-time position.

Responsibilities include organizing a competitive program, recruiting student-athletes, coordinating practice and game plans, on-court coaching, ensuring compliance, supporting other sports, and representing the university at events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and operates an effective and competitive Men’s Tennis Program.
• Coordinates recruitment of student-athletes.
• Attends and participates in all team planning sessions with coaching staff.
• Aids in the planning, organizing, and executing of all traditional season practice sessions for the program.
• Conducts on-court coaching during intercollegiate contests.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Elmhurst University,NCAA,and CCIW rules and regulations.
• Adheres toNCAAcompliance regulations.
• Endorses and supports other sports within Elmhurst University Athletics.
• Interacts with other university constituencies, as appropriate, and actively participates in their events.
