Job summary

Elmhurst University is seeking a Head Women’s Tennis Coach to lead all facets of the program. The role requires alignment with NCAA Division III, Elmhurst Athletics, and the athletic department’s mission to create a positive environment for student-athletes.

The coach will manage recruitment, organize practices, coach during contests, ensure compliance with NCAA/CCIW rules, and collaborate with staff to support other sports and university initiatives while traveling for events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and operates an effective and competitive Women's Tennis Program.
• Coordinates recruitment of student-athletes.
• Attends and participates in all team planning sessions with coaching staff.
• Aids in the planning, organizing, and executing of all traditional season practice sessions for the program.
• Conducts on-court coaching during intercollegiate contests.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Elmhurst University,NCAA,and CCIW rules and regulations.
• Adheres toNCAAcompliance regulations.
• Endorses and supports other sports within Elmhurst University Athletics.
• Interacts with other university constituencies, as appropriate, and actively participates in their events.
