Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens.
• Correlates and interprets data based on techniques and instruments.
• Investigates problems and maintains equipment; prepares reagents.
• Instructs students and new employees; data entry and report interpretation.
• Communicates with physicians, nursing staff and colleagues.
• Adheres to safety protocols and attends education meetings.
