Job summary

Saint Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to deliver standards-aligned math instruction for the first semester of the 2026-2027 school year. You will plan lessons, assess learning, and uphold the Archdiocese and SUA guidelines to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds or intends to obtain the Ohio teaching certificate and demonstrates strong math content knowledge, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork within a faith-based school

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Strong mathematics content knowledge required.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, PowerSchool and Schoology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Instructs, supervises, and ensures safety of students in mathematics.
• Plans and delivers standards-aligned lessons and assesses learning.
• Maintains accurate attendance and progress records in school systems.
• Collaborates with Principal and departments to support student success.
• Attends all required meetings and contributes to curriculum development.
• Upholds mission and Ursuline values in all classroom activities.
